JW Governing Body claims to be the “Faithful Slave”

Did you know how (in sworn testimony during the recent Australian Royal Commission hearing) Governing Body member Geoffrey Jackson responded to the question, “Do you see yourselves as Jehovah’s spokespeople on earth?”

Jackson replied, “That, I think, would seem to be quite presumptuous to say that we are the ‘only spokesperson’ that God is using.”

Really? Was he being truthful and honest when he replied that way?

Did you know in the February 15, 1918 Watchtower magazine it is recorded,

. . .we believe it a safe rule to follow Brother Russell’s interpretation, for the reason that he is the servant of the church, . . . and therefore we should expect the Lord to teach us through him.

Then in the October 1, 1994 Watchtower expanded this concept to another level,

All who want to understand the Bible should appreciate that the ‘greatly diversified wisdom of God’ can become known only through Jehovah’s channel of communication, the ‘faithful and discreet slave.’

Three years later in the January 1, 1997 Watchtower Jehovah’s Witnesses leaders stated,

Jehovah has commissioned the . . . slave class to provide spiritual ‘food at the proper time.’

The November, 15, 2009 Watchtower provided this admonition:

We need to guard against developing a spirit of independence. By word or action, may we never challenge the channel of communication that Jehovah is using today.

Did you know that Geoffrey Jackson went on to say, “…going back to Matthew 24, clearly, Jesus said that in the last days – and Jehovah’s Witnesses believe these are the ‘last days’ – there would be a ‘slave’, a group of persons who would have responsibility to care for the spiritual food. So in that respect, we view ourselves as trying to fulfill that role.”?

Jackson may believe he personally is a part of that “slave,” but common sense tells us that believing something is “true” does not necessarily make it so – because no one can create “truth;” no one can change reality. Beliefs should be based on reason, evidence and undeniable content – not rooted in personal viewpoint or unsupportable claims.

Who, then, is the faithful and discreet slave? In keeping with Jesus’ pattern of feeding many through the hands of a few, that slave is made up of a small group of anointed brothers who are directly involved in preparing and dispensing spiritual food during Christ’s presence. Throughout the last days, the anointed brothers who make up the faithful slave have served together at headquarters. In recent decades, that slave has been closely identified with the Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Note, however, that the word “slave” in Jesus’ illustration is singular, indicating that this is a composite slave. The decisions of the Governing Body are thus made collectively. I hope I hope that the readers of this site in the US have been following the Royal Commission here in Australia. It is available on Google and official transcripts are available as pdf from the Royal Commission site.
There is now an inquiry starting up in the Britain as well. I have emailed them with the advice they thoroughly review the Royal commissions hearings on google to see how the jw will perform in Britain.
Take in the report on BBC radio 4 of a woman raped by a jw ‘official’ and how she was interrogated by the elders. Please America look these sites up.

Further. I had hoped also that there would be someone in the US who would recommend Candace Conti for the Nobel Peace Prize. I cant from Australia as it requires a person and an official of the nominees country to do this. If you are prepared to go to a government legislator, congressman whoever then google Nobel Peace Prize.

Zeb, yes, of course we have been following the Australian Commission inquiry. We present them here on this site. We will have them all and we will also provide our readers with a complete compilation of all the Commission documents, transcripts, and exhibits.

Candace Conti is doing well and prefers to leave all of her past life behind her and move forward. Although I agree that she should be recognized for her efforts and successes, I also know that she wants no part of that type of thing. It’s enough for her to have her name forever etched in the history of the Watchtower’s mishandling of child abuse and sexual crimes.

Please revisit this site in a few weeks and you will see that we will have an entire archive dedicated to the Australian Royal Commission hearings.

They did brilliantly so did the two victims. Very happy to see Jehovah using the authorities to make the weeds obvious from the wheat. The patence displayed by Mr Stewart. And his research impeccable. But ultimately they will be held accountable to Jehovah.

In Acts 15 is a case of whether non-circumcised persons can be Christians. The oler men at Jerusalem resolved this and a great growth took place afterward. We have a body of oler brothers to ehlp solve difficult cases.

Recently i have asked various JWs in the UK (approx 8) either at their cart or in the neighbourhood if they knew anything about the Royal commission or the Candace Conti case -Nope none of them had a clue In their defence I believe they were being genuinely honest.
Can we somehow inform the witnesses about this. Why should Watchtower be able to walk away from this without people hardly knowing about it

Steve you are so right-As for me I will no longer be the nice guy and keep my mouth shut. Why should they be protected by being silent about their crimes? No more. I will say what I think. The reason they claim they never heard of all this molesting is because they have taken the MD PILL so long that they do not see anything negative about the society. Or its also true that they have heard about it but choose not to reply about it because of the MD PILL. Like I told an elder one time about the United Nations. He said he never heard about it. My reply was “How come I have heard about it and you have not?”They lie like a rug.

IT DOES NOT SURPRISE ME TO THINK THAT ALL THE FLOCK THINK THAT MR JACKSON SHOULD NOT BE TREATED LIKE A COMMON CRIMINAL. WELL DUE TO THE SIMPLE FACT THAT HE HAD TO ANSWER QUESTIONS PROVE THAT HE IS NOT WHAT HE SAYS HE IS. PURE AND SO RIGHTEOUS AND ALL KNOWING. HE IS JUST ANOTHER SELF RIGHTEOUS MAN TRYING TO MAKE PEOPLE THINK HE IS SO RIGHTEOUS. CAN YOU IMAGINE THE POPE BEING SWORN IN FOR SOMETHING SO DOWNGRADING?I DONT THINK THE POPE WOULD STOOP SO LOW TO CLING TO A 2 WITNESS RULE.THE WATCHTOWER GOT THIS 2 WITNESS RULE OUT OF THE BOOK OF DEUT. WELL IN THAT SAME BOOK IT SAYS TO STONE A DISOBEDIENT CHILD. WHY NOT DO THAT ALSO? THEY JUST ENFORCE WHAT THEY WANT TO.I WONDER WHY THEY DEFEND CHILD MOLESTERS SO MUCH? Elders in congregations are also “guardians of dogmas”, blind leaders of the blind people. And they do not permit “sheep-persons” to questioning on such or other matters.
When I was post my public comment criticizing GB in one of video made by other people on “you tube”, elders who had a meeting about me and this few sentences of mine, were in such fear to not accidentally turn on, play video because of fear it is some apostate video. (One of elder at that meeting who also have dilemmas told me this later) They only concentrated about my words, not on the context why i put it that way.
In telephone call made to one of “investigator” elder, because i was target for them those days, he mentioned that government “just have investigation on all organizations about pedophile issues.” So if God do not open your eyes, no one else can’t do that for you, especially not those “corporation clerks” in congregations .
